Real-time downtime visibility
Unified data from PLCs, MES, and CMMS to surface top loss drivers and accelerate corrective actions.
We deliver a fully integrated data platform and a hands-on team for manufacturers. We connect every machine and system into one platform and guide you through Integration → Information → Intelligence. We own the onboarding so you see results in weeks, not years. As your all-in-one tech partner, we handle integrations, support, and continuous improvement—so you don’t juggle vendors.
B3 pairs software with a seasoned team who’ve shipped in automotive, steel, wood products, pulp & paper, CPG, packaging, mining, and more. No shelfware, just measurable wins.
B3 was founded in 2012 by Chris Graham in Toronto, Ontario, after years of seeing plants struggle with historians, spreadsheets, and one-off reports that didn’t match what people saw on the line.
In the early days, a decade ago, the work was highly iterative: standing with operators, controls engineers, IT, and business teams in mills and plants, wiring up small improvements, watching how they were used, and then refining them again and again.
Many of those early projects were built with a core group of engineers and University of Toronto alumni who preferred being on site to sitting in a boardroom. That loop between the factory floor and the product is still how we build the B3 platform and AI agents today as the team continues to grow across disciplines and industries.
How B3 is implemented across industries.
Unified data from PLCs, MES, and CMMS to surface top loss drivers and accelerate corrective actions.
Connected vision systems and saw parameters to trace quality issues back to blade wear and settings.
Standardized historian tags across lines for consistent KPIs, exception reporting, and AI agent automation.
Normalize tags and grades, track sheet breaks and energy KPIs, and close the loop with guided actions.
We work with refineries to integrate process control, LIMS, and energy data to pinpoint recovery losses and energy-intensity drivers across circuits.
Correlate SKU, line, and crew data to reduce waste, shorten changeovers, and improve first-pass quality.
Unify process control, maintenance, and energy data to cut flaring, reduce unplanned downtime, and track unit health.
Connect PLCs, vision systems, and ERP demand to balance lines, reduce scrap, and accelerate changeovers.
B3 is short for Business Integration, Business Information, and Business Intelligence. It’s the way we think about every project: connect systems, turn data into shared context, and then layer on AI and automation where it actually helps.
We connect PLCs, historians, MES, ERP, and spreadsheets into one platform. That means fewer silos, cleaner hand-offs between teams, and a single place to trace issues across machines, lines, and plants.
Once the data is integrated, we standardise tags and models so everyone sees the same story. Operators, engineers, and leaders get clear KPIs, investigations, and alerts built around how your factory actually runs.
Practical, no-fluff guidance for manufacturers—best practices in digital transformation and continuous improvement, grounded in real factory work. We share playbooks, frameworks, and lessons learned from our team of engineers so you can move from data to decisions faster.
