The calculations run in your browser and B3 does not save the numbers you type. When you unlock results, we save your work email together with the calculator you were using and its headline result, so we can follow up. Like the rest of runb3.com, the page also uses analytics, which records how the tools are used and the results they produce so we can improve them.
They are estimates built from the numbers you enter, using the formulas shown under "How it's calculated" on each calculator. The downtime cost figure is deliberately conservative: it leaves out recovery overtime, scrap after restarts and repair costs.
